Allu Arjun files petition seeking relief for alleged violation of code of conduct during AP elections 2024
Allu Arjun gained attention during the elections in Andhra Pradesh in May 2024 when he broke the model code of conduct by visiting Nandyal to support YSRCP candidate Shilpa Ravi Chandra Kishore Reddy. A case was filed against the actor for this, but now he has taken a different approach.
A recent report indicates that Allu Arjun has filed a petition in the Andhra Pradesh High Court to dismiss the case against him. He was accused of violating Section 144 and Police Act 30 during the elections in Andhra Pradesh. The large crowd that gathered during his visit to Nandyal went against the election conduct norms.
Seeking relief from the case, Allu Arjun has now approached the High Court. The court has accepted the plea and set a hearing for Tuesday, October 22, 2024.
For those unaware, the fact that Allu Arjun supported a candidate from a different party instead of his uncle, Pawan Kalyan, for the same seat in the Andhra Pradesh constituency may have caused some conflict between them. There have been speculations about a rift between the families as well.
In the midst of all this, a statement from Pawan Kalyan about how South cinema heroes have not been portrayed in an ideal manner caught attention, with many believing it was directed at Allu Arjun.
However, the rumored conflict between the two actors has never been directly addressed by either of them, leading some to speculate if it was exaggerated by their respective fan clubs.
On the professional front, Allu Arjun is gearing up for the release of his next film, Pushpa 2: The Rule. The film, directed by Sukumar, is part of the iconic Pushpa universe. Allu Arjun will reprise his role as a laborer-turned-smuggler of red sandalwood in the film.
The movie has generated significant hype among the actor’s massive fan base, and the makers are reportedly planning a grand release and reception for Pushpa 2 on December 6, 2024.
