Alia Bhatt shares a hilarious anecdote about Ram Charan adopting an elephant in her daughter Raha’s name
Alia Bhatt made her Telugu debut with the movie RRR, co-starring Jr. NTR and Ram Charan. She recently shared a heartwarming story about her bond with them, revealing that Ram Charan adopted an elephant in her daughter Raha’s name, which she found to be a thoughtful gesture.
During a promotional interview with anchor Suma in Hyderabad, Alia Bhatt mentioned that she didn’t have much time to spend with Jr. NTR and Ram Charan on the RRR set as she only shot for a few days. However, they became close friends during the movie’s promotions. Alia recalled a funny incident related to her daughter Raha and the elephant adoption gesture by Ram Charan.
Alia hilariously recounted the moment when someone informed her about an elephant’s arrival at her home, sent by Ram Charan. She initially thought a real elephant was about to walk into her building. However, it turned out to be a wooden elephant adopted by Ram Charan in Raha’s name. They named the wooden elephant Ellie and kept it next to their dining table. Alia expressed her gratitude for Ram Charan’s thoughtful gesture.
Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor introduced Raha to the world on Christmas 2023, and Alia has since shared adorable photos of their daughter on Instagram. In September 2024, she posted a photo dump on Ranbir’s birthday, including a heartwarming picture of the family hugging a tree with a sweet birthday message.
On the professional front, Alia is busy shooting for her upcoming movie Alpha in the Spy Universe, scheduled for release on December 25, 2025. She will also begin filming Love & War soon.
