Alia Bhatt recently added to the excitement by sharing a new poster on social media featuring herself and Vedang Raina. The anticipation for the teaser trailer, scheduled for release tomorrow (September 8), has reached a fever pitch.
On Instagram today (September 7), Alia Bhatt unveiled another poster that has left fans on the edge of their seats for the trailer. The poster shows Alia in a blue and white striped shirt, with Vedang Raina portraying her sibling sitting below her. Alia affectionately embraces him with one arm while gently resting her other hand on his head, conveying a sense of care and love.
As the teaser trailer is set to premiere tomorrow, this poster has only increased the excitement among fans.
Sharing the new poster, Alia Bhatt captioned it, “Ek hazaaron mein… #JIGRA TEASER TRAILER OUT TOMORROW AT 11AM.” Karan Johar was quick to leave heart emoticons in the comments, while fans showered the section with praise. One user remarked, “You both literally look like siblings—give the casting director a raise.”

Alia Bhatt has teased that the teaser trailer for Jigra will be released on September 8, and to build anticipation, she posted two posters on Instagram. The first poster captures Alia’s intense gaze, while the second image shows her looking directly at the camera with the caption, “Dum hai… Satya mein dum hai! (There is strength… Truth has strength) JIGRA TEASER TRAILER OUT ON 8TH SEPTEMBER.”
Directed by Vasan Bala and produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions in collaboration with Alia Bhatt’s Eternal Sunshine Productions, Jigra is set for a theatrical release on October 11, 2024. The teaser for Jigra has already been approved by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) ahead of its release. The 2-minute and 52-second teaser received a ‘UA’ rating on September 4, 2024.
Aside from Jigra, Alia Bhatt is involved in various other projects. She is currently filming for Shiv Rawail’s Alpha alongside Sharvari Wagh and has recently wrapped up the Kashmir schedule for YRF’s spy thriller. Additionally, she is set to star in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love and War, where she will be sharing the screen with her husband, Ranbir Kapoor, and Vicky Kaushal.
