Alexander Ludwig and Lauren Ludwig are thrilled by this exciting news.
It turns out, the Hunger Games actor and his wife of three years are expecting a new addition to their family.
“Ooooops,” the couple announced in a joint Instagram post on March 14. “New baby Ludwig coming June 2024 and we couldn’t be more excited.”
Friends and fans flooded the comments with well wishes and love, with Chase Stokes simply writing, “AHH.”
Meanwhile, Alexander’s Vikings costar Alicia Agneson chimed in: “Ahhhhh guys!!!! So happy for you two.”
Alexander, known for his role as Cato in the original Hunger Games film, secretly married Lauren in December 2020. The couple have been open about their fertility struggles, and welcomed their first child, Leni James Ludwig, last April.
However, the couple had faced multiple miscarriages in the past, which led Lauren to speak out about the issue on social media.
“I want to raise awareness about the prevalence of miscarriages and remove the stigma surrounding them,” Lauren shared in a heartfelt Instagram post in May 2022. “Going through this has shown me that I am not alone.”
