Alex Cooper ties the knot with Matt Kaplan in a cozy beachside ceremony

Following months of anticipation and preparation, Alex Cooper officially exchanged vows with her partner of four years, Matt Kaplan, on April 4 in a relaxed beachside ceremony in Riviera Maya, Mexico.
“It was everything we had hoped for,” the host of Call Her Daddy shared with Vogue in an article published on April 24. “It was emotional, sincere, and tailored precisely to our vision.”
For the wedding, the 29-year-old Alex dazzled in a custom gown designed by Danielle Frankel. With Matt, 40, taking charge of most of the planning, it was a seamless process for her, with minimal stress involved.
According to Alex, “I was remarkably stress-free—Matt deserves all the credit as he managed most aspects, and it turned out flawlessly.”
In addition to opting for a destination wedding, the couple kept the guest list intimate and deviated from customary wedding traditions: Alex walked solo down the aisle with guests facing her, and following their vows, they led the guests straight to a cocktail hour for an instant celebration.
