Al Pacino’s girlfriend Noor Alfallah shares details of her life-threatening health scare
Noor Alfallah is recounting the frightening experience she underwent during her pregnancy.
The producer, who gave birth to son Roman with Al Pacino in June, shared with Vogue Arabia that before delivering her baby, she was diagnosed with a rare and life-threatening condition known as HELLP syndrome.
HELLP syndrome, which stands for Hemolysis, Elevated Liver enzyme levels, and Low Platelet count, can impact pregnant individuals and lead to complications such as high blood pressure, liver issues, and blood abnormalities, according to Yale Medicine. Alfallah’s experience, as reported by Vogue Arabia, involved being connected to magnesium drips, having low platelets, and not being able to be alone with her newborn for a period after giving birth due to the risk of seizures.
Simultaneously, the 30-year-old was adjusting to motherhood and navigating the public scrutiny surrounding her relationship with Pacino.
“Looking back now,” she shared with the magazine in an interview published on March 6, “I wish I could have savored my pregnancy more.”
