Renowned Tamil actor Premgi Amaren, also the brother of popular director Venkat Prabhu, exchanged wedding vows with his long-time partner Indu on June 9. The ceremony was a private affair, attended by their families and friends at the Murugan Temple in Thiruttani, Tamil Nadu.

Premgi Amaren marries longtime companion Indu
The director of Mankatha took to his Instagram handle to share a series of beautiful pictures from the event and wrote, “Finally!!!! Love u @premgi best wishes to the newly wed #InduPremgi.”
In one picture, Premgi and Indu can be seen holding hands as they receive blessings from those present on this special day. In another picture, the newlyweds are seated on a sofa, capturing the scenic beauty around them.
Actor and fitness coach Ramya Subramanian also shared numerous pictures from the event on her X account. She expressed, “The long-awaited day has finally arrived. Singal Singha has decided. Happy married life! @premgiamaren.”

Premgi Amaren began his career as an assistant to renowned music composer Yuvan Shankar Raja. His big break came in 2006 when he starred in Silambarasan TR’s 2007 romantic drama Vallavan.
Subsequently, Premgi appeared in several of his brother Venkat Prabhu’s films, including Chennai 600028, and the cult thriller Mankatha starring Ajith Kumar.
Premgi’s most recent appearance was in Venkat Prabhu’s sci-fi thriller Maanadu, featuring Silambarasan TR, S J Suryah, and Kalyani Priyadarshan in lead roles.
