Based on the trailer, the movie is a mature romantic film showcasing a love story revolving around the main cast. The duo shared their thoughts on the refreshing story of their film during the trailer launch.

During the trailer launch of Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha on June 13, Ajay Devgn and Tabu were asked about their film being a refreshing change compared to most romantic movies that usually feature younger actors.
In response, Tabu thanked the film’s director Neeraj Pandey and expressed her excitement about it. She mentioned that romance is not limited to the youth or certain age groups. She emphasized that there are no barriers when it comes to romance, love, and relationships. Tabu stated, “Actually, the film is more about a relationship than love and romance. Human relationships are the most interesting aspect that can be explored in cinema.”
The actress highlighted that love and romance are integral parts of human relationships and are beautiful elements for filmmakers to explore. She added that the possibilities of depicting relationships are endless.
Building on Tabu’s remarks, Ajay Devgn mentioned that true feelings deepen over time. He emphasized the importance of thinking deeply about emotions, whether positive or negative, which may not happen until a certain age when there is maturity.

The Drishyam actress was also asked if she believes producers will be more inclined to cast top female stars together and empower actresses to headline such projects. Before Tabu could respond, Ajay stated, “There is no need for courage. Many films already have strong female leads. It’s all about a good script. If there is a compelling story with a powerful female lead, filmmakers will make it.”
Elaborating on Ajay’s point, the actress mentioned that the final decision lies with the producers based on her observations over the years.
The upcoming film Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha also features Jimmy Shergill, Shantanu Maheshwari, Saiee Manjrekar, and others in significant roles. Directed by Neeraj Pandey, the movie is set to release on July 5, 2024.
