Taylor Swift Fans Heading to Eras Tour in Singapore Receive Friendship Bracelets from Airline
For those flying to Singapore for Taylor Swift‘s Eras Tour shows this weekend, the concert experience starts before they even land.
Philippine Airlines is handing out custom friendship bracelets to fans heading to Singapore National Stadium, where Swift will perform six shows starting Saturday (March 2). The airline shared pictures of bracelets reading “1989,” “Lover,” “Fly Pal,” and more on Instagram, along with videos on its Story of flight attendants distributing them from a box to passengers.

“Look what you made us do! #flyPAL 03.01.2024 ✈️💫,” the airline captioned one of its posts.
These bracelets have been a tradition of the “Anti-Hero” singer’s Eras Tour from the beginning, with fans exchanging them at shows in honor of the lyric “Make the friendship bracelets, take the moment and taste it.” Even A-list concertgoers like Halsey, Mariska Hargitay, Simu Liu, Brie Larson, Sarah Paulson, Lupita Nyong’o, and more have joined the trend.
At Swift’s Feb. 23 show in Sydney, Australia, Travis Kelce also participated. Photos from the night show him enjoying his girlfriend’s performance with multiple friendship bracelets on both wrists, some of which were gifted to him by fans.
These bracelets are also a significant part of the love story between the 14-time Grammy winner and Kelce. Before they started dating last summer, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end tried unsuccessfully to give Swift a beaded bracelet with his phone number at her performance at Arrowhead Stadium — and the rest was history.
The “Karma” musician will be in Singapore until March 9, along with opening act Sabrina Carpenter. After that, the Eras Tour will take a two-month break — during which Swift will release her new album The Tortured Poets Department on April 19 — before continuing in May with shows in France.
