Delhi Police warns Diljit Dosanjh fans of online ticket fraud ahead of concert: ‘Think twice before spending money’
Fans in India are eagerly anticipating Diljit Dosanjh’s upcoming musical concert in our country. Diljit is currently on a Dil-Luminati tour and has already performed in various countries worldwide. The Punjabi music sensation will be delivering electrifying performances in India in October this year. The ticket prices during the pre-sales soared to incredible heights, leaving many fans disappointed. His manager revealed that there is a trend of reselling tickets at inflated rates. Prior to his concerts in India, Delhi Police has issued a warning to his fans regarding online ticket fraud, which has a connection to Diljit.
Recently, the official Delhi Police Instagram handle shared a warning clip on their platform. The clip features the text cautioning fans to stay away from unverified links as fraudsters are targeting buyers with fake tickets for Diljit Dosanjh’s concerts.
Delhi Police’s recent post warning Indian citizens about online ticket fraud will remind you of Diljit’s song “Born To Shine” from the G.O.A.T. album.
“Gana sunne ke chakkar me ticket ke liye galat link par paise puse dekar apna band na bajwa lena (Don’t fall for fake ticket links and end up getting scammed; always verify first),” reads the text.

Netizens are impressed with Delhi Police’s cleverness in their post about the online ticket scam during the Dil-Luminati Tour. Comments like “Delhi Police is dope” and “DP sabse aage” were seen.
“Delhi Police got no chill,” commented an Instagram user. Another user found it “creative”. “The SM (social media) manager deserves a raise,” reads one of the comments.
Diljit shared Delhi Police’s post on his Instagram story, acknowledging them with a raised fist emoji.
During an interview with Connect Cine, Diljit Dosanjh’s manager Sonali Singh discussed the trend of buyers reselling tickets at exorbitant prices. She mentioned that during the Dil-Luminati tour in North America, tickets were being resold for Rs 54 lakh and Rs 46 lakh, and fans were purchasing them.
