Adele Playfully Remarks on Spanx Being Too Small
If Adele could, she would burn her shapewear.
The Grammy-winning singer opened up about her fashion struggles during a recent performance at her Las Vegas residency “Weekends with Adele.”
“I had to squeeze into these small-sized Spanx,” Adele shared with the audience at her June 1 show, as seen in a video posted on TikTok by a fan. “It felt like I was stuffing sausage meat. It was really stressful.”
The “Hello” singer confessed that she nearly skipped wearing the Spanx altogether, but ultimately decided to wear them after managing to get into them.
“I was considering not wearing Spanx tonight,” Adele joked, “but I thought ‘No, that’s too risky.’ They make me look amazing, but I’m worried about my circulation getting cut off. So, if I faint during the show, don’t worry—that’s the reason.”
