Adele’s Las Vegas Residency Comes to an End, Fans Express Sadness Over Extended Break
Adele is preparing to take a break from her music career, with plans to step away from the spotlight after her Las Vegas residency ends in November.
During a recent concert in Munich, the 36-year-old singer shared with her fans that she will be taking an extended hiatus, stating, “I have 10 shows left, but after that, I will not be seen for a very long time, and I will keep you close to my heart.” Fans expressed their sadness in the comments section of a video featuring Adele’s announcement, acknowledging her history of taking breaks between projects.
Notably, Adele took a six-year break between her albums “25” and “30.”
Adele’s final 10 shows for her Weekends with Adele residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace are scheduled between October 25 and November 30. Originally planned for March, the shows were postponed by Adele in February for vocal rest.
Following the conclusion of her Munich residency on August 31, Adele discussed her plans for the future in an interview with a German outlet in July, mentioning that she has no immediate plans for new music and instead intends to explore other creative ventures.
Despite taking a break from her music career, Adele may be taking a significant step in her personal life, with rumors circulating about her engagement to sports executive Rich Paul. The couple was first linked in July 2021 and Adele confirmed the rumors during one of her concerts by mentioning her upcoming marriage.
Adele was previously married to Simon Konecki from 2018 to 2022 and shares a son, Angelo, with him.
