What About Francesca Bridgerton?
Francesca Bridgerton (Hannah Dodd) is often referred to as the overlooked Bridgerton sibling, not because she is not loved by her family, but because she prefers a quieter and calmer life.
In the book series, it is mentioned that Francesca found her husband seven years prior to the events in the show. However, executive producer Shonda Rhimes and the team have decided to intertwine some of the book plots involving Francesca, Colin, and Benedict Bridgerton (Luke Thompson) all searching for love in season three.
In the TV series, Francesca becomes Queen Charlotte’s “diamond” of the season and is courted by Lord Samadani (David Mumeni) and her preferred suitor, John Stirling, Earl of Kilmartin (Victor Alli). This storyline with Queen Charlotte is not in the books.
Fortunately, Francesca and John find true love with each other and have a small wedding at home before moving to Scotland. Their story will continue there, with more details available in the sixth Bridgerton book, When He Was Wicked.
