Suparna Anand astounded by Mohanlal and Mammootty’s silence on Hema Committee Report controversy

Malayalam actress Suparna Anand, known for her role in the film Vaishali, recently shared her experiences in the Malayalam film industry. She expressed disappointment over Mohanlal and Mammootty’s silence on the Hema Committee report.
She discussed the challenges she faced in the industry, stating, “The issue of the casting couch has been prevalent for a long time. It’s important to support the women who have bravely come forward.”
Suparna also criticized Mukesh for not resigning as an MLA despite facing sexual assault allegations. She stood in solidarity with the victims and supported their voices amid the controversy.
After facing MeToo allegations, Mohanlal stepped down as the President of the Association of Malayalam Movie Artists (AMMA). The entire committee resigned as well in response to the serious allegations against members of the industry.
AMMA issued a statement announcing the resignation of the governing body due to the allegations. A new governing body will be elected within two months, and temporary activities will continue under the outgoing committee.
