Abigail Breslin Receives “Death Threats” Following Alleged Katy Perry Tweet
While some social media users expressed their support for Abigail, others criticized her for singling out Katy when other artists also work with Dr. Luke. Despite facing backlash against her career, Abigail didn’t hesitate to respond.
When one user accused her of sharing the message for attention, Abigail responded with a simple “R u for real?” And when another belittled her accomplishments by mentioning her role in Scream Queens, she fired back with, “Oh s–t, I thought my biggest gig was the one I got nominated for an Oscar for but… ok!”
Despite the negativity, Abigail made it clear that she was not going to dwell on these messages any longer.
Later, she tweeted, “Alright, goodnight everybody. I’m not going to stop speaking out against abuse. I have not said anything negative about your favorite. Please relax. I have my own perspective. You have the right to criticize my career and treat me poorly, but I don’t understand why you would. I stand by my words. Goodnight.”
