Report: Abhishek Bachchan purchases luxury apartment near Jalsa in Juhu, following acquisition of 6 flats in Borivali two months prior.
Actor Abhishek Bachchan has recently purchased a luxurious new property in the upscale Juhu area of Mumbai. Reports state that this new residence is located near his father Amitabh Bachchan’s famous bungalow, Jalsa.
According to Bombay Times, the apartment offers a stunning view of Juhu Beach. The Bachchan family already owns multiple properties in the vicinity, including five bungalows and apartments in newly constructed buildings. Their real estate endeavors have traditionally been supported by a respected builder who is a fan of Amitabh Bachchan. However, Abhishek’s latest acquisition comes from a different developer, signaling a departure from their usual connections.
Amitabh Bachchan previously purchased two apartments in Oberoi Sky City for Rs 9.75 crore, while Abhishek Bachchan acquired six luxury apartments in the same development for Rs 16 crore. Property registration documents from Zapkey.com show that these units are valued at Rs 15.42 crore.
Abhishek invested in 4,894 sq ft of RERA carpet area at a rate of Rs 31,498 per sq ft. These six apartments are located on the 57th floor of a high-rise building along the Western Express Highway in Borivali East. Additionally, Amitabh Bachchan expanded his portfolio by buying three office units in Mumbai’s Veer Savarkar Signature building for around Rs 60 crore in June.
On the professional front, Abhishek Bachchan is gearing up for his role in the highly anticipated film Housefull 5. The movie features a star-studded cast, including Akshay Kumar, Anil Kapoor, Nana Patekar, Riteish Deshmukh, and Chunky Pandey.
In addition, Bachchan is set to star in Shoojit Sircar’s upcoming untitled film. Prime Video recently showcased this project on Instagram, describing it as an emotionally charged story about a father and daughter reconnecting and cherishing their bond amidst life’s struggles. The film will also include Johnny Lever, Ahilya Bamroo, and Jayant Kriplani alongside Bachchan.
There are also rumors that Jr. Bachchan will appear in the film King, alongside Shah Rukh Khan, Suhana Khan, and Abhay Verma. Directed by Sujoy Ghosh, King is expected to be a high-energy action thriller with Anirudh helming the music and background score, and top professionals from various countries choreographing the action sequences.
