Cannon had indeed promised a baby boom.
“The stork is on the way,” Cannon announced on the June 7, 2022 episode of the Lip Service podcast. “If you thought the numbers I put up in 2021 were impressive…wait ’til 2022! There were a lot of kids last year.” (To recap, four Cannon children were born in 2021.)
He had managed to stay celibate for about a month and a half, but after Zen’s death, he found it difficult to resist offers of intimacy.
“I was supposed to make it to the top of the year, but obviously, I started going through some stuff,” Cannon admitted. “I got depressed with the loss of my son. And because everyone could see how down I was, they thought, ‘Let me just give him a little female company. That’ll fix everything.'”
