Halsey Hospitalized Following a “Very Scary” Seizure
Halsey is keeping her fans updated following a recent health scare.
The 29-year-old raised concerns when she posted a video of herself and her fiancé Avon Jogia in the hospital.
“Happy Late Bi Visibility Day,” she wrote in the caption of the Instagram post from Sept. 25, along with a link to the post (link opens in a new tab). “This year I’m celebrating by being in the hospital with a man by my side (just kidding for legal reasons).”
In the video, Halsey is seen lying in a hospital bed with an IV in her arm, flashing a peace sign, and saying, “Happy Bi Visibility Day. We had big plans for you guys.”
The singer of “Lucky” shared more details about her condition during a fan Q&A on X, formerly Twitter.
Responding to a fan’s question about her health, she mentioned on Sept. 26, “I’m back home after a few days in the hospital, so it’s a victory!”
When another fan inquired if her hospitalization was related to a chronic health problem, Halsey, who has previously been candid about her struggles with endometriosis and other issues, revealed, “I experienced a seizure! Very frightening! Not something I would recommend!”
