Ben Savage’s Perspective on Maitland Ward’s Transition into the Adult Film Industry from Boy Meets World
McGee has appeared in several made-for-TV movies and short-lived TV series, reprising her role as Shawn’s girlfriend Angela in an episode of Girl Meets World despite the unfortunate circumstances surrounding her exit from Boy Meets World.
During an episode of Pod Meets World in 2022, McGee revealed to Fishel, Strong, and Friedle that she was told the showrunner had purposely excluded her from the series finale in 2000, resulting in Angela’s abrupt departure for Europe. Friedle denied these claims, and McGee expressed regret over any past animosity between her and Fishel, acknowledging they could have been more supportive of each other during the show’s run. Fishel agreed, saying, “We could’ve helped each other.”
McGee, previously married to Courtland Davis, has since reconnected with fans at conventions and celebrated Daniels’ 96th birthday alongside Fishel, Strong, and Friedle on March 31, 2023. She is also a singer, artist, and mother to her children, Ramia, Langston, and Ezra.
In 2024, McGee announced her pregnancy at the age of 54, but sadly later shared that she had experienced a pregnancy loss. “I did lose the baby,” she disclosed on an episode of The Tamron Hall Show in September. “It wasn’t expected; it was closer to the end of the first trimester. We really don’t have any concrete reasons why.”
