Matt LeBlanc’s Fatigued Appearance Causes Concern Amongst FRIENDS Cast Members; Insights Provided by Sources
Matt LeBlanc, popularly known for his role as Joey Tribbiani in the iconic sitcom Friends, has raised concerns among his co-stars due to his recent appearance. Despite usually keeping a low profile on social media and in public, the Man with a Plan actor was recently seen shopping for a car with his daughter looking tired and unkempt.
LeBlanc’s last on-screen appearance with his Friends cast was in the reunion episode of the show. His most recent social media post paid tribute to the late actor and friend, Matthew Perry.
Sources close to the Hollywood star spoke to InTouch Weekly, revealing that while LeBlanc used to be cheerful and funny, he has not been himself lately.
One insider shared, “He used to be so happy and upbeat, but now it seems like he doesn’t feel worthy of being around them.”

Another source claimed that LeBlanc’s Friends co-stars have reached out to offer their support. An insider revealed, “Nobody is body-shaming Matt or accusing him of any unhealthy habits.”
They further explained, “What concerns Jennifer Aniston and the rest of the Friends cast is his withdrawal and lack of communication.”
In November 2023, Matt LeBlanc reunited with his Friends co-stars at Matthew Perry’s funeral. Perry passed away from a Ketamine overdose and was found unresponsive in his bathtub. Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, David Schwimmer, and Lisa Kudrow joined LeBlanc at the funeral.
Regarding LeBlanc’s social circles, a close source shared, “He’s been in touch since Matthew Perry’s passing, but otherwise, he’s been keeping to himself without much interest in socializing.” They added, “It’s sad for everyone to witness.”
Matthew Perry and Matt LeBlanc had a strong friendship on and off-screen. After Perry’s death, LeBlanc shared some heartfelt memories of their time together on the show.
Matt LeBlanc appeared on Friends from 1994 to 2004 for 10 seasons.
