Sarah Rafferty and Rick Hoffman Share Their Fond Memories of Working Together on ‘Suits’: ‘It’s Something I Miss…’
Sarah Rafferty and Rick Hoffman recently reminisced about their time working together on the popular legal drama series Suits. Rafferty played Donna Roberta Paulsen, while Hoffman portrayed Louis Marlowe Litt on the show, which ended in 2019 after nine seasons. Rafferty also shared some items she took from the set. Sarah Rafferty and Rick Hoffman reunited at the 2024 Epic Cons, where they discussed their time working on Suits and how they enhanced some scenes. People magazine reported that when asked about their favorite memory from the set of Suits, they found it difficult to choose just one.
Hoffman mentioned, “When you’re at a job you loved for nine years, I can’t narrow it down to one.” He added, “There’s all the people that you love working with, so to break it down into one, to give you that answer, I wish I could honestly tell you there was this one memory.”

Rafferty recalled a scene from season 1 that she often looks back on fondly, where her character Donna surprises Louis in his office with tickets hidden in her shirt. They improvised a lot of that scene, which led to moments of laughter and joy. Rafferty expressed missing the laughter shared with Hoffman.
Hoffman mentioned how exploring his character creatively was a thrilling experience, describing it as liberating and exciting. Rafferty admitted to taking some souvenirs from the set to hold onto a piece of Donna Paulsen. She joked about stealing clothes and even Donna’s couch.
