The Sopranos and Angels in America led the nominations at the 2004 Emmys.
Angels in America, with 21 nominations, had a very successful night, setting a new record—previously held by RootsAl Pacino and Meryl Streep winning Outstanding Lead Actor and Actress, respectively.
