“Taylor Swift Rocks Reputation TV-Core at MTV VMAs 2024 Amid Re-Release Hype; Fan Reactions Revealed”
Throughout her career, Taylor Swift has become known for leaving clues, whether it’s about her personal life or her professional endeavors. Her dedicated fanbase, known as Swifties, are skilled at decoding these clues. Recently, many fans have speculated that her outfit on the MTV VMAs red carpet was a hint towards the re-release announcement of her album Reputation.
Reputation was originally released in 2017, and after Taylor announced her plans to re-record her older music, fans have been eagerly waiting for her updated versions of the songs. On the red carpet, Taylor donned a black and yellow corset gown by Christian Dior, paired with black fingerless gloves and thigh-high boots, reminiscent of her Reputation Era.
While many fans believed this outfit choice hinted at the album’s re-release announcement during the ceremony, Taylor did not make any such announcement. She has already re-recorded her first six albums, with only Reputation and her self-titled debut album remaining.
Later in the evening, Taylor changed into a sequin dress featuring UFO imagery, potentially teasing a new song titled “Down Bad.” She also took home seven trophies, including the Video of the Year award for “Fortnite,” and thanked her crew, fans, and boyfriend Travis Kelce.
