EXCLUSIVE: Ananya Panday of Call Me Bae open to being stranded on deserted island with Ranveer Singh for THIS surprising reason
Ananya Panday is currently busy promoting her upcoming Prime Video series Call Me Bae. In a recent interview with Pinkvilla, the actress shared some exciting details about her life and career. When asked which male actor she would want to be deserted on an island with, Ananya quickly chose Ranveer Singh.
She explained, “I would pick Ranveer because he would entertain me with his dance moves. I wouldn’t want to get bored.” When asked to rate herself as an actor, Ananya hesitated but eventually gave herself a 7/10.
Although Ranveer and Ananya have not worked together, Ananya made a special appearance in a song in Ranveer’s film Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. Fans are eager to see them share the screen together in the future.
Call Me Bae, Ananya’s new comedy-drama series, is produced by Karan Johar’s Dharmatic Entertainment and will premiere on Amazon Prime on September 6. The show, directed by Colin D’Cunha, has been written by Ishita Moitra, Samina Motlekar, and Rohit Nair.
Aside from Call Me Bae, Ananya also has Vikramaditya Motwane’s CTRL in her upcoming projects. The thriller, co-produced by Nikhil Dwivedi and Arya Menon, will feature Vihaan Samat, Devika Vatsa, and others in key roles. CTRL is set to release on Netflix on October 4, 2024. Ananya’s other project, Shankara, is currently shrouded in mystery.
