The Buckingham Murders: Director Remembers Watching Kareena Kapoor Khan Walk Past Neighbor Hansal Mehta, Reflecting “I Would Stand By in Awe…”

The trailer of the film was launched today, September 3, in Mumbai, with producer Ektaa Kapoor and director Hansal Mehta joining Bebo at the event. Mehta shared some amusing anecdotes from the time when he lived in the same building as Kapoor.
The trio graced the stage in town to unveil the trailer of The Buckingham Murders. Mehta expressed gratitude towards Ektaa Kapoor for bringing Kareena into the project. He humorously recalled how Bebo used to pass him in their residential building without acknowledging him. Mehta praised Kareena as one of the best actors in the industry and emphasized the timeless nature of talent in comparison to stardom.
In addition to acting in the film, Kareena makes her debut as a producer in The Buckingham Murders. She praised Mehta for his direction and commitment to maintaining the authenticity of the storyline. The film also stars Ranveer Brar, Ash Tandon, Keith Allen, and others, and had its international premiere at the 67th BFI London Film Festival. The first song from the film’s soundtrack, “Sada Pyaar Tut Gaya,” has already been released.
