Kathryn Hahn’s Surprising Return to Marvel After Wanda Vision Left ‘Unfinished Business’
After the finale of Wanda Vision, fans were left wondering about Kathryn Hahn’s character Agatha Harkness, who was trapped in a cursed stupor. In an interview with Rolling Stone, the actress mentioned that she had a feeling her character would return to answer all questions. She also revealed that she and head writer Jac Schaeffer had discussed the possibility of her character coming back.
When Marvel pitched the idea of a spin-off series revolving around Agatha Harkness to Hahn, she was taken aback. Despite feeling intimidated, she was thrilled at the opportunity. Hahn first appeared in the Disney+ series Wanda Vision, where her character, despite being an evil witch, was well received by fans. Her song “Agatha All Along” became a huge hit and the title of the spin-off series.
Following her successful performance in Wanda Vision, fans began to speculate if Agatha Harkness could appear in future MCU films like Avengers: Doomsday and Secret Wars. When asked about the possibility, Hahn explained that it would only happen if it was necessary for the story and if the role was intriguing enough.
Agatha All Along will be available for streaming on Disney+ Hotstar starting September 18th.
