Raghav Juyal discusses returning as a villain in Yudhra after Kill: ‘Even Shah Rukh Khan began his career as a baddie’
Raghav Juyal, who started his career as a dancer, is now making a mark as an actor. With each new movie, he proves himself as a promising performer. His next project is Siddhant Chaturvedi’s Yudhra, where he will be portraying a villain, much like his role in the previous film Kill. During the trailer launch event of Yudhra, a reporter asked him about playing villainous roles, to which Raghav responded in a humorous manner. He even drew comparisons with Shah Rukh Khan, who also started his career playing villains.
At the trailer launch of Yudhra, Raghav shared his thoughts on playing consecutive villainous characters. When asked if he is becoming the next Bollywood villain, Raghav joked that it all depends on the opportunities he gets. If they had offered him the role of a pole in a big film, he would have taken it too, but since they chose him for the villain role, he embraced it.
He added, “Playing a villain is exciting, and even Shah Rukh Khan started his career with negative roles, so I think the same might happen with me.”
Speaking about Yudhra, the movie also features Siddhant Chaturvedi, Malavika Mohanan, Ram Kapoor, and others in important roles. Directed by Ravi Udyawar and written by Shridhar Raghavan, with dialogues by Farhan Akhtar and Akshat Ghildial, Yudhra is set to release on September 24, 2024.
Previously, Raghav received acclaim for his performance in Kill, where he portrayed a negative character. The 2023 action thriller film was directed by Nikhil Nagesh Bhat and also starred Lakshya, Ashish Vidyarthi, Harsh Chhaya, Tanya Maniktala, and Abhishek Chauhan. Kill was inspired by true events.
