Nicole Eggert from Baywatch Reveals Uncertainty During Breast Cancer Battle
Nicole Eggert is providing an update on her health journey.
The Baywatch star, who was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer in December 2023, recently shared details about her current treatment progress.
“I am good,” Eggert revealed in an interview with People published on Aug. 27. “I am in a sort of gray area after finishing my treatment, waiting for more imaging and hopefully maybe surgery.”
“There’s a lot of waiting involved in this process, which I didn’t fully realize and isn’t often discussed,” she elaborated. “The uncertainty of the gray area is the most challenging because you don’t know what’s happening, unlike during treatment when I felt like I was actively doing something.”
Having completed chemotherapy earlier this year and now contemplating her mastectomy and reconstruction, Eggert, who is a mother to daughters Dilyn (26) and Keegan (13) with ex-husband Justin Herwick, is currently struggling with feelings of unproductivity at this stage of the process.
