The reason behind Rapper Enchanting’s death has been disclosed
Rapper Enchanting passed away due to an accidental overdose of prescription medications, according to authorities.
The Dallas County Medical Examiner’s office revealed that the 26-year-old music artist overdosed on a mix of the opioid painkiller Oxycodone and benzodiazepines, which are depressant drugs like Valium and Xanax, as reported by TMZ on Aug. 23.
The autopsy report from the medical examiner’s office stated that Enchanting, also known as Channing Nicole Larry, passed away at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas.
Originally from Germany, where her father was stationed in the U.S. Army, Enchanting grew up in Atlanta and later moved to Fort Worth, Texas during her teenage years. She started her music career at 18 after graduating from high school. In 2020, she signed with Gucci Mane‘s 1017 Records and released two albums—No Luv in 2022 and Luv Scarred / No Luv in 2023.
“It’s heartbreaking to say goodbye to such a talented young woman,” Gucci expressed on Instagram following her passing, “a true star that we will all miss, Chant.”
