Kelly Hyland of Dance Moms Achieves a Milestone While Battling Cancer
Dance Moms star Kelly Hyland has reached a significant milestone in her breast cancer journey.
The 53-year-old posted a video of herself marking the next phase of her battle in an Aug. 20 Instagram video, saying, “I got to ring the bell today. This was the end of my first treatment… next steps surgery, 20 radiation and 11 more treatments. I GOT THIS.”
Kelly, who is the mother of Brooke Hyland, 26, Paige Hyland, 23, and Josh Hyland, 25, also shared a heartwarming Boomerang video of Paige and Josh affectionately kissing her on the cheek.
The former reality TV star continued the festivities with some dessert in another video an hour later, blowing out the candle on a slice of cheesecake. She captioned it, “Still celebrating.”
Kelly initially disclosed her breast cancer diagnosis in May after finding a lump in her breast in late March, revealing her official diagnosis as invasive carcinoma stage 1, grade 3.
