Travis Kelce Lands Role in Action Comedy Film “Loose Cannons”
He knows how to play ball and now Travis Kelce is ready to showcase his acting skills.
The 34-year-old has secured his first role in a film called Loose Cannons, an action comedy produced by Chad Stahelski, known for his work on the John Wick films, as reported by multiple sources. The screenplay will be written by Tim Dowling, known for his work on Role Models, Just Got With It, Pixels, and Office Christmas Party.
Taylor Swift‘s partner has already secured a role in the upcoming Ryan Murphy TV series Grotesquerie alongside Niecy Nash, set to premiere on Sept. 25. However, Loose Cannons will mark his debut in movies.
Loose Cannons follows two unruly police officers teaming up to tackle challenging cases, similar in tone to popular franchises like Lethal Weapon, Bad Boys, and Rush Hour, as reported by The Hollywood Reporter.
It is currently unknown who will star alongside the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, and no official start date has been announced for the project. With the NFL season picking up in the following months, it is unlikely that filming will begin until next year for the Super Bowl champion.
