Ben Affleck’s Activities During Jennifer Lopez’s Divorce Filing
While Jennifer Lopez was in the process of ending her two-year marriage to Ben Affleck, he was focused on a different milestone.
Amidst speculation, J.Lo officially filed for divorce from Affleck at the Los Angeles Superior Court on August 20th, which also marked the two-year anniversary of their wedding ceremony in Georgia.
During this time, the Justice League actor was at Yale University in Connecticut, helping their eldest daughter, Violet Affleck, move into college for her freshman year alongside his ex-wife Jennifer Garner.
The 52-year-old, who shares children Seraphina (15) and Samuel (12) with Garner, was spotted back in Los Angeles after seeing off his eldest daughter for college.
In regards to the breakup of Bennifer, it was revealed that the couple did not have a prenuptial agreement, meaning that the assets accrued since their 2022 wedding are considered communal property according to an insider speaking to NBC News.
