Post Malone Opens Up About His Fiancée and 2-Year-Old Daughter in Rare Interview
Post Malone acknowledges that he is in a better place now, thanks to the women in his life.
While the “Rockstar” singer (real name Austin Post) has kept many details about his family private, including the names of his fiancée and their 2-year-old daughter, he recently opened up about his journey as a father.
“It changes your life in the best way ever,” Post shared in an Aug. 11 segment for CBS Sunday Morning. “And the most beautiful thing is, she has a beautiful mom.”
The 29-year-old singer explained how his partner and daughter have had a profoundly positive impact on him and his battle with loneliness.
“Four years ago, I was struggling,” he revealed, mentioning his routine of crying and drinking. “It was terrible. I don’t feel like that anymore, and it’s the most amazing thing ever.”
Glowing with happiness when talking about his family, Post—who has his daughter’s initials “DDP” tattooed on his forehead—also shared his reason for including a song about his daughter’s future wedding day on his upcoming album F-1 Trillion, set to release on Aug. 16.
