Jordan Chiles Disqualified from Winning Bronze Medal in 2024 Olympics Floor Exercise
The USOPC stated that they are committed to appealing the decision in order to ensure Jordan Chiles receives the recognition she deserves. They are fully dedicated to supporting her as an Olympic champion and are actively working towards a swift and fair resolution of this matter.
According to the Associated Press, two potential avenues for the appeal could be Switzerland’s highest court, the Swiss Tribunal, or the European Court of Human Rights.
Following the ruling by the Court of Arbitration for Sport, Chiles, who has been facing negative comments on social media, expressed her emotions with a series of broken heart emojis online. She also announced a break from social media for her mental well-being.
Messages of support have poured in from her teammates, family, friends, and fans. Simone Biles, in particular, sent love and encouragement to Jordan on Instagram Stories, reminding her to stay strong as an Olympic champion.
