Actress Reese Witherspoon expresses sadness over the passing of her beloved dog, Hank.
Reese Witherspoon graced the 2024 Golden Globes Red Carpet with a special date: her eldest son Deacon Phillippe.
Reese Witherspoon is grieving the loss of a beloved pet.
The Legally Blonde star—who has children Ava, 24, and Deacon, 20 with ex-husband Ryan Phillippe, as well as Tennessee, 11, with ex-spouse Jim Toth—shared the news of the passing of one of their oldest pets.
“We will miss your sweet spirit, Hank,” Reese wrote in an August 6 Instagram Story. “Thank you for being the best family pet and pack leader.”
In addition to Reese’s message, Ava also expressed her feelings about losing the family dog.
“14 ½ years of pure love & constant tail wagging,” the 24-year-old wrote in her own Instagram post on August 6. “His job was ‘family pet’ and he excelled at it. Thanks Hanky for reminding us that every day is the best day ever.”
Reese’s ex-husband Jim also left a red heart emoji in response to Ava’s post, saying, “He took great care of us.”
The Witherspoon family, especially Reese, is known for their affection for pets. Reese often shares photos with their dogs, including labrador Major and bulldog Minnie Pearl, along with the late Hank.
