Taapsee Pannu leaves a funny remark on husband Mathias Boe’s retirement post; ‘Remember you are married…’
Actress Taapsee Pannu recently got married to her longtime beau, badminton player Mathias Boe in March of this year. The couple is currently enjoying their time at the Paris Olympics 2024. Mathias announced his retirement as a badminton coach on Instagram, and Taapsee had a humorous response to it.
Mathias Boe wrote a heartfelt note for his Indian players Chirag Shetty and Satwiksai Raj Rankireddy, who did not win at the Olympics, while also sharing his retirement news.
Regarding his retirement, Mathias mentioned that his coaching days have come to an end, and he will not be continuing to coach in India or any other country. Referring to himself as a “tired old man,” Taapsee jokingly reminded her husband that he is also a “married man.”
In her comment, Taapsee humorously advised her husband to take a step back now that he is a married man and needs to prioritize coming back home every day to help with dinner and cleaning.
She ended her comment with a teary-eyed emoji and a red heart emoji.
Recently, Taapsee revealed in an interview that Mathias had proposed to her nine years ago, making it one of the longest engagements in history. The couple got married on March 23, 2024, in an intimate ceremony in Udaipur.
They have recently purchased a house in Denmark, where they plan to spend their summer after the Olympics. Taapsee’s upcoming projects include working with Akshay Kumar in the film Khel Khel Mein, as well as other films like Phir Aayi Haseen Dilrruba and Woh Ladki Hain Kahaan?
On the professional front, Taapsee has appeared in movies like Chashme Baddoor, Baby, Naam Shabana, Mission Mangal, Pink, Manmarziyaan, and more. Her most recent film was Dunki with Shah Rukh Khan.
