Prithviraj Sukumaran is a well-known cinema superstar who is currently directing his third film with Mohanlal titled L2: Empuraan. He recently shared a nostalgic photo from the past featuring his father and the veteran star.
The special thing about this photo is that the actors appeared together in a movie directed by the legendary Mani Ratnam. Prithviraj captioned the photo, “Lalettan, Achan, Mani Ratnam sir, Ravi ettan (Ravi. K. Chandran), on the sets of Unaru (1984),” and thanked the cinematographer for capturing the moment.

The picture, taken on the set of the Malayalam movie Unaroo in 1984, features Mohanlal in front of the camera with cinematographer Ravi K. Chandran behind the lens. Prithviraj’s father Sukumaran is also seen observing the making, while Mani Ratnam directs the film.
Unaroo was a political drama focusing on the issues faced by daily-wage workers dealing with labor trade union parties in Kerala at the time.
Prithviraj recently starred in the comedy film Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil and is currently directing the sequel to Lucifer with Mohanlal. Mohanlal will also be seen in the fantasy film Barroz and the films Kannappa and Vrushabha.
Mani Ratnam is currently working on his film Thug Life starring Kamal Haasan, a gangster flick.
