The Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher, who joined the team in July 2023, was introduced to the gymnast through his college roommate and closest confidante—whose significant other happened to be Livvy’s roommate at the time. The sparks truly began to fly when Livvy shared a TikTok video donning Paul’s jersey in June 2023, causing fans to speculate about a blossoming romance.
Just two months after the viral video surfaced, Paul openly confirmed their relationship. However, he acknowledged the obstacles that came with their newfound fame.
“I wish she could attend a baseball game without all the attention. It bothers me,” expressed the 22-year-old to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. “Neither of us can control it. Hopefully, as I progress in my career, things will ease up, but it’s something I want for her.”
