Pregnant Cardi B seeks child support from Offset during divorce proceedings
Cardi B is seeking her ex’s help in covering the costs of raising their children.
In her recent divorce filing against her estranged husband Offset, the pregnant “WAP” rapper requested primary custody of their children and child support from him.
According to court documents filed on Aug. 1 and obtained by E! News, Cardi and the Migos member share two children, daughter Kulture Kiari Cephus, 6, and son Wave Set Cephus, 2, and are expecting their third child later this year.
Offset, who also has children Jordan, 14, Kalea, 9, and Kody, 8, from previous relationships, has not responded to Cardi’s divorce filing.
E! News has contacted Offset’s representative for a statement but has not received a response.
Cardi (real name Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar) is also asking the court to fairly distribute any property acquired during her more than six-year marriage to Offset (real name Kiari Kendrell Cephus).
The divorce petition cites irreconcilable differences over the past six months as the reason for the marriage breakdown, with no possibility of reconciliation.
