Cardi B Seeks Divorce from Offset After Nearly Seven Years of Marriage
Cardi B is officially filing for divorce from Offset.
After nearly seven years of marriage, the “Bodak Yellow” rapper has decided to end their relationship, as confirmed by her representative to Page Six on Aug. 1.
This change in their status follows seven months after Cardi announced her separation from the Migos member.
Previously, Cardi had discussed the possibility of ending their marriage legally due to the various challenges they had faced in their relationship.
“I consider all options,” Cardi, who married Offset in 2017, disclosed in an interview with Rolling Stone in May. “We consider everything because we genuinely care for each other. It’s more than just love. We’re like best friends. There were times when I didn’t have a best friend or someone to rely on.”
According to the 31-year-old, “This is not just about leaving a partner. It’s about losing your best friend.”
