Chris Evans ecstatic to revisit his Fantastic Four role in Deadpool and Wolverine, calling it a dream come true
Chris Evans returned to Marvel to play Johnny Storm, a.k.a. the Human Torch, in the latest Marvel Cinematic Universe movie Deadpool & Wolverine. He expressed his gratitude to his co-stars, Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, for allowing him to be a part of this iconic film.
In an Instagram story, Chris Evans shared a behind-the-scenes photo from the set of Deadpool & Wolverine, featuring himself in his superhero suit posing with Jackman, Reynolds, and director Shawn Levy. He thanked them for letting him be a part of the movie, calling them three of the nicest guys he’s ever met.
Chris Evans previously played Johnny Storm in the 2005 film Fantastic Four and its sequel Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer before becoming known for his role as Captain America in the MCU.
He mentioned how excited he was for his guest appearance in Deadpool & Wolverine and praised Ryan Reynolds for pitching the idea and making it happen, noting that Reynolds has a comedic talent that helps make everything work.
Deadpool & Wolverine is now in theaters, featuring Reynolds as Deadpool and Jackman as Wolverine, with surprise cameos from Evans, Jennifer Garner, Wesley Snipes, and Dafne Keen as Human Torch, Elektra, Blade, and X-23 respectively.
