Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo Reunite for a Magical Performance at the Olympics
Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo aren’t in Oz anymore.
The Wicked co-stars made a grand entrance at the Opening Ceremony for the 2024 Olympics in Paris on July 26. Fans will surely be enchanted by their stylish outfits.
Ariana looked stunning in a pink dress with a pleated skirt and bow detailing on the red carpet, completing her ensemble with a hair ribbon and gloves that Glinda would approve of. Meanwhile, Cynthia shined in a green dress and matching hat that would make Elphaba green with envy.
Despite their coordinated looks, they claimed it was not planned.
“We did not. We never do this, and it always happens,” Ariana joked in an interview with NBC, with Cynthia adding that it simply “happens by accident.”
As the Olympians showcase their skills and determination throughout the Games, the Grammy winners are thrilled to support them.
“This is probably the first Olympics I’ve ever been able to attend in-person,” Cynthia shared. “It’s been a bit of a dream to do this and to do it in Paris is really special, too.”
