Divorce of Shannen Doherty and Kurt Iswarienko Finalized Just 2 Days After Her Passing
“Shannen expressed in the documents that it is unjust for Kurt to delay our divorce proceedings in the hope that I pass away before he has to fulfill his financial obligations,” she stated. “Meanwhile, he continues to lead his life without taking responsibility for his terminally ill wife of over 11 years.”
Kurt’s attorney refuted the accusation, mentioning that he had previously proposed a settlement agreement to Shannen in October and expressed a desire to resolve the case and move on.
Recently, the podcast host has been contemplating how her perspective on marriage has evolved following their separation.
“I still believe in the institution of marriage,” Shannen, who was previously married to Ashley Hamilton and Rick Salomon, shared on her podcast Let’s Be Clear in April. “However, my last difficult marriage taught me that a marriage certificate doesn’t hold much significance.”
