On Monday, July 15th, 50 Cent took to social media to praise Eminem’s latest album, The Death of Slim Shady (Coup De Grâce), which was released the previous week. His post expressed admiration for Eminem’s lyrics, a sentiment shared by many fans.

In his post, 50 Cent highlighted the complexity of Eminem’s work, specifically referencing a part of the chorus from the song Evil. He wrote: “Yo @eminem sh** is crazy it takes me a while to understand the details of this one.”
Released on July 12th, The Death of Slim Shady features 19 songs, marking Eminem’s first album in four years since Music to Be Murdered By topped the Billboard 200 chart in 2020. The lead single, Houdini, includes throwback visuals from the song Without Me and features cameo appearances by celebrities such as 50 Cent, Snoop Dogg, and Pete Davidson.
Eminem advised listeners to follow the tracklist in order as it unfolds a conceptual narrative. The song Evil, the fifth track on the album, includes the lyrics:
