Known for directing films like Gangs of Wasseypur, Gulaal, DevD, Black Friday, The Girl in Yellow Boots, and Kennedy, Kashyap is also involved in producing, screenwriting, and acting.

Anurag Kashyap gives his house tour in Mumbai
In an exclusive video tour with Pinkvilla, Anurag Kashyap took us through his workspace, library, pantry, bedroom, and terrace in his Mumbai residence.
Kashyap’s home exhibits a blend of chaos and peace, with books stacked against a wall, a framed poster of his film Kennedy, a coffee machine, a library, and a collection of footwear.” He reveals that he shot his film AK vs AK in his house and points towards the table where his meetings and writing sessions take place.
An interesting fact is that he replaced his bedroom with a small kitchen and accommodated Bulgarian director Konstantin Bojanov, whose film premiered at Cannes, at his house.
He expresses, “I finally decided to take my space. I have broken every room. So there is no space except for me to sleep in this house.”

Home means “a safe place”, says Anurag Kashyap
When asked what home means to him, the director emphasizes that home is a safe place and his sanctuary. His home is filled with books and his loved ones, providing him with comfort and security.
Kashyap also mentions that he prefers living in a rented space as it gives him the flexibility to travel wherever he wants.
Currently, Anurag Kashyap is preparing for his upcoming series, Bad Cop, where he will portray a negative role. The series will be available for streaming on Disney+Hotstar from June 21.
