Billie Eilish Reaches 100 Million Monthly Listeners on Spotify, Joins Elite Group of Artists
Billie Eilish has achieved a significant milestone by surpassing 100 million monthly listeners on Spotify, making her the youngest artist to reach this mark. She is only the third singer, after The Weeknd and Taylor Swift, to achieve this feat with her catalog of 82 songs. The news was confirmed by Spotify to Billboard 100, highlighting Eilish’s accomplishment.
Although she follows The Weeknd and the Midnight singer in achieving this milestone, both pop icons had double the number of songs in their catalogs compared to Eilish.
What did the head of Spotify say about Billie Eilish’s achievement?
After reaching this milestone, Jeremy Erlich, the head of Spotify, released a statement praising Billie Eilish for her continuous growth in the platform’s community since the beginning of her career.
