Kate Middleton Attends First Formal Event in Half a Year
Prince William recently responded to questions about Kate Middleton‘s health as she undergoes cancer treatment.
Kate Middleton has returned to the public eye after receiving preventative chemotherapy for cancer. She appeared with her husband, Prince William, and their children – Prince George (10), Princess Charlotte (9), and Prince Louis (6) – at the Trooping the Colour on June 15, marking King Charles III‘s birthday. This was Kate’s first formal appearance since Christmas Day.
Before the event, Kate was seen arriving at Buckingham Palace with her family to join King Charles and Queen Camilla for the celebrations. Charles and Camilla rode in a carriage, with Kate and her children following closely behind in a separate carriage. Meanwhile, William rode on horseback with Princess Anne and Prince Edward.
Although Charles has made a few public appearances since his diagnosis in February, Kate has mostly stayed out of the spotlight during her health journey. She did, however, release a video on March 22 discussing her battle with cancer.
Despite her condition, Kate confirmed her attendance at the Trooping of the Colour one day prior to the event and took the opportunity to update everyone on her health.
