Kyle Cooke & Amanda Batula’s Sweet Response to Breakup Rumors
Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula‘s marriage goes beyond summer romance.
The Summer House stars, who were recently plagued by divorce rumors, demonstrated their strong bond in the June 13 reunion episode of the Bravo series.
“I love him, unfortunately, so very much,” Amanda confessed, reflecting on their disagreements during the latest season. “He is my best friend. When I’m sad, I seek his company. When I’m happy, he’s the first person I want to share my joy with.”
In addition, Amanda revealed that there was another factor contributing to their miscommunication during filming last summer.
“To be fair to Kyle, during that previous year, I was on the verge of depression,” the 32-year-old revealed. “I was withdrawn. I was not communicating with my friends. So, when he would return home, yes, I was quiet.”
It turns out, Amanda’s quiet struggle with depression is not new.
“It’s a family trait,” Amanda disclosed to host Andy Cohen. “It’s not unexpected. I was battling more than I recognized, and it hit me later. I could sense his loneliness because I felt lonely too.”
