Miranda Derrick Shares Concerns about her Safety after Netflix Documentary
The 25-year-old contradicted Miranda’s claims that the family did not support her religious beliefs, which focused more on God after joining 7M in 2020.
“I attended two of their exclusive dinners and two of the services that required invitations, and I noticed all these warning signs,” Melanie explained. “So, when she says we weren’t supportive, it’s because I saw things she didn’t.”
Claiming that the organization tried to divide her family after she stopped attending their events, Melanie, who is also a TikToker, stated, “And now, here we are.”
In a statement to E! News on June 4, 7M Films denounced the docuseries as “a false creation resulting from a failed extortion scheme, conceived solely for the purpose of seeking fame and wealth.”
“We are taking legal action to halt the dissemination of scandalous falsehoods,” the statement added, “and anticipate being completely exonerated in court.”
E! News has contacted Shekinah Church for a response regarding the docuseries but has not received a reply. Netflix declined to comment when contacted by E!.
