Exciting News: Pitch Perfect 4 Is in the Works and We Can’t Wait for the Music
The Barden Bellas might be returning for a fourth installment.
Rebel Wilson recently provided an exciting update on the future of the Pitch Perfect movie series, over six years since the third film’s release.
“Hopefully there’s a fourth one in the works,” remarked the 44-year-old, known for her role as acapella singer Patricia “Fat Amy” Hobart in the franchise, during a BBC Radio 2 interview released on April 30. “There is one being developed. I know we’re older now, so I don’t know exactly what the storyline’s going to be.”
Rebel also added, “I guess they’ve got to get the script right first, which is the age-old dilemma.”
The actress, who appeared in all three Pitch Perfect films from 2012 to 2017, fondly recalls her time filming the movies alongside co-stars Anna Kendrick, Brittany Snow, and Anna Camp.
“I absolutely loved making those movies,” expressed Rebel. “We’re all still friends, all of us girls. They’re just so joyful.”
